Former Vice President of a construction consulting firm providing project management; construction claims; and dispute resolution, litigation support, and related services in connection with assertion, defense, and resolution of construction and environmental claims and disputes. More than 90% of practice involves construction, representing public and private owners, developers, lenders, architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors, specialty contractors, and subcontractors. Experience in dispute management and resolution of substantial matters in litigation in federal/state courts, mediation, arbitration, and other ADR processes. Experience in public/private projects involving power, industrial, pharmaceutical, highway and mass transit, environmental, institutional, and commercial facilities.

Alternative Dispute Resolution Experience: Arbitrator since 1982 and mediator since 1987 for the American Arbitration Association. Has experience as an arbitrator or a mediator in more than 500 cases. Mediated cases have included complex construction, environmental, and commercial disputes involving public and private sector parties. Issues in dispute have included contract interpretation and performance, regulatory and enforcement actions, professional malpractice, agency representation agreements, vendor and equipment supply, insurance, and warranty coverage. Arbitrated cases include numerous multimillion-dollar, multi-party construction and environmental disputes and commercial, residential, and public construction arbitrations. Served as chairperson of a panel or sole arbitrator in substantial arbitration proceedings involving performance issues, design and construction defects, schedule delay and acceleration, cost overruns, financing disputes, differing site conditions, and constructive changes. Experienced as a partnering facilitator, including the AAA "Partnering Plus" program for the New York City School Construction Authority. Member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Standing Committee on Complementary Dispute Resolution, Advisory Committee on Mediation Standards, and Civil Mediation Mentoring Committee. Member of the AAA construction and commercial arbitrator training faculty and a mediation trainer, presented dozens of ADR training seminars.
